Because we have courses to suit all learners, students can begin their studies with a foundation course and progress to Practical Care and Childcare Skills. Students can then progress on to either a GNVQ, BTEC or CACHE Diploma to enable them to study at University level on an HNC course. |

| The catering industry is one of the largest employers in the UK and includes a remarkably wide range of catering operations with a correspondingly wide variety of jobs at all levels. Students learn their skills in the college's own and very popular restaurant Le Plaisir. |
Courses including carpentry, plumbing, electrical installation and welding have been designed for students wanting to get work in the construction industry. Instruction is carried out in the classroom and workshops where practical exercises are demonstrated and then implemented. |
